C-DAC Delhi successfully conducted a three-day training programme on "Cloud Computing & Server Administration" from July 29th - 31st, 2026 for 25 Assistant Programmers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at CBI Academy, Ghaziabad. The programme was organized with the objective of strengthening the technical competencies of the participants in the areas of cloud technologies, server administration, virtualization, storage management, and modern IT infrastructure.

The training programme commenced on July 29th, 2026 with technical sessions focusing on Virtualization & Hypervisors, Storage Management, Backup & Recovery, and Windows Server using Virtual Machines. These sessions were conducted by Shri Arun Kumar, Senior Project Engineer, STG & Cyber Security Group, C-DAC Delhi, who provided participants with both conceptual understanding and practical insights into virtualization technologies and server management.

The sessions on July30th and 31st, 2026 were delivered by Shri Jaibheem Gaikwad, Project Manager, ICD, C-DAC Delhi. The programme covered Server Components, RAID & IT Infrastructure, Linux Administration, Git, Cloud Computing, and Cloud Services, followed by an assessment to evaluate the participants' understanding of the concepts covered during the training. The sessions emphasized practical approaches and industry-relevant practices, enabling participants to gain hands-on exposure to modern server administration and cloud computing technologies.

The comprehensive curriculum provided participants with an understanding of virtualization platforms, storage and backup mechanisms, Windows and Linux server administration, version control using Git, cloud service models, and cloud infrastructure concepts. The programme enhanced the participants' technical knowledge and familiarized them with contemporary tools and technologies widely adopted in enterprise IT environments.

The successful execution of the programme reflects C-DAC Delhi's continued commitment towards capacity building and skill development for strategic government organizations. Under the visionary leadership and constant encouragement of Shri Jitendra Singh, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Delhi, the Centre continues to organize high-quality technical training programmes that empower professionals with emerging technologies and industry best practices.The training programme was coordinated under the guidance of Shri Apoorva Kohli, Scientist E & Group Head – ACTS, C-DAC Delhi, with valuable support from Dr. Shoyab Ali, Senior Project Engineer, ACTS, C-DAC Delhi. Their combined efforts in planning and coordination ensured the smooth conduct and successful completion of the programme at CBI Academy, Ghaziabad.

The programme concluded on 31st July 2026 with an assessment and interactive feedback session, where participants appreciated the practical orientation of the course and the expertise of the faculty members. The successful completion of the programme marks another significant milestone for C-DAC Delhi in its ongoing efforts to strengthen technological capabilities across strategic government institutions through quality training and capacity-building initiatives.
