The 1st International Conference on Intelligent Machine Process and AI-Centric Technologies (IMPACT 2025) held at BIT Mesra, Patna Campus, marked the beginning of a global academic and research dialogue on emerging and transformative domains of Artificial Intelligence. The conference was inaugurated by Shri Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Patna.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of Director, BIT Patna, along with eminent academicians, researchers, and dignitaries from Subway University, Malaysia; NIT Patna; Adam's University, Kolkata; Allen Institute, Kanpur; ABES, Ghaziabad; IILM University, Gurugram; University of Calcutta; and Bihar Council on Science & Technology, Government of Bihar. The diverse representation underscored the conference's international and interdisciplinary character.

In his inaugural address, Shri Dixit emphasized the growing importance of AI-driven technologies in addressing real-world challenges and highlighted the need for stronger collaboration between academia, research institutions, and industry to translate innovation into societal impact. He also reiterated C-DAC's commitment to fostering advanced research, capacity building, and technology development aligned with national priorities.
