Research Paper Presentation at the IEEE BuildSEC-25

The second International Conference on "Building a Secure and Empowered Cyberspace (BuildSEC'25)" was held at IITPatna from December 01st - 03rd, 2025. It was inaugurated by Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, in the presence of Shri Pratyaya Amrit, Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Shri Abhay Kumar Singh, Secretary, Department of IT, Government of Bihar, Prof. T. N. Singh, Director, IIT Patna, and Prof. Sanjay Jha, UNSW Sydney, Australia and senior officials from C-DAC Mumbai and C-DAC Patna.

BuildSEC'25 served as a key platform, bringing together over 250 participantsincluding researchers, policymakers, and industry experts-and featuring the presentation of more than 20 research papers in the cybersecurity domain.

C-DAC Pune's Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) team led by Ms Madhuri Lohia, Scientist E along with co-authors Ms Jyoti Sharma and Shri Aryan Katariya presented a research paper titled "Security Strategies for Critical Testing Infrastructure for Defence Exams" at the Conference. Their presentation underscored the importance of establishing secure, resilient, and tamper-proof digital testing environment for high-stakes Government Defence Recruitment examinations.

The paper showcased C-DAC's commitment in developing state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions for public sector recruitment, setting a benchmark for other organizations and educational institutes looking to secure their own digital infrastructure.

This presentation was well received and gave glimpses of comprehensive testing framework designed to protect sensitive exam content and confidential candidate data from unauthorized access, tampering, and cyber threats.

In his speech, the Shri Pratyaya Amrit, Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar specifically noted the significance of this paper, emphasizing that securing the infrastructure for national defence exams is not only a technological challenge but also a critical step in maintaining public trust in government recruitment processes. The Chief Secretary further remarked that it would be highly beneficial to learn from this approach as it could be implementedacross other high-stakes government exams and systems.
