C-DAC Patna team, under the leadership of Shri Abhinav Dixit, Centre Head, met with the Hon’ble IT Minister of Bihar, Smt. Shreyasi Singh, on February02nd, 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity to brief her on C-DAC Patna’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives spanning digital innovation, advanced computing, cybersecurity, and technology-enabled governance.

Detailed discussions were held on strengthening Bihar’s IT ecosystem through robust digital infrastructure, adoption of emerging technologies, and targeted capacity-building programmes for government departments, academia, and the youth. The meeting also explored potential avenues for collaboration in areas such as e-Governance platforms, AI-enabled public service delivery, data-driven decision support systems, and skill development aligned with the state’s development priorities.

The Hon’ble Minister emphasized the importance of leveraging technology as a catalyst for inclusive growth, transparent governance, and sustainable development. The interaction reaffirmed the shared commitment of the Government of Bihar and C-DAC Patna to work collaboratively towards accelerating digital transformation and positioning Bihar as a progressive and innovation-driven state.
