Certificate Course in Cybersecurity and Malware Analytics

C-DAC Delhi launchedCertificate Course in Cybersecurity and Malware Analytics (CCCS&MA) under ITEC Scheme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for a duration of two weeks for fifteen participants fromGhana, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Mongolia, and Sierra Leone.

To mark the commencement of the course, Induction Ceremony was held on January19th, 2026 at C-DAC Delhi. The ceremony was attended by a diverse group of participants from various Government Departments and Ministries from the participating countries.

The event was formally inaugurated with a welcome addressby Mr. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E - ICD & ITEC Coordinator followed by lighting of lamp with Saraswathi Vandana by invited guest from Bukhara State University, Uzbekistan lead by Prof. Khamza Eshankulov, Rector IT Advisor and Dean of Mathematics, Physics, and IT; Prof. Tursun Shafiev, Head of the Department of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence; Dr. Sherali Tilavov, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Digital Technology and Dr. Anatoly Kremenchtskey, Visiting Professor at Bukhara State University, and Director of the India–Kazakhstan Centre of Excellence in IT at Eurasian National University, Astana, Kazakhstan; Mr. Jitendra Singh, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Delhi, and Mr. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G &HoD – ICD &Centre Head, C-DAC Patna.

Mr. Jitendra Singh delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the ITEC Scheme of the Ministry of External Affairs as a key developmental cooperation initiative. He encouraged participants to act as goodwill ambassadors of India by promoting ITECsponsored courses. He also emphasized the strategic importance of cyber security in the current global digital landscape and the need to tackle real-world challenges in their respective organizations and countries.

Mr. Abhinav Dixit presented an overview of the ITEC and C-DAC, highlighting C-DAC's global footprint, the significance of ITEC training programmes, and C-DAC indigenously developed technologies. He underlined the importance of cyber security and malware analytics, motivated the faculty for delivering an enriching learning experience, and noted that the certificate course is designed to effectively integrate theoretical concepts with practical application.The course faculty; Mr. Jaibheem, Project Manager, ICD, C-DAC Delhi wasintroduced by Ms. Richa Choudhary, Course Counsellor & Faculty – ACTS, C-DAC Delhi.

Dr. Anatoly Kremenchtskey, on behalf of the visiting delegation, delivered the induction speech. He highlighted the importance of the course under the ITEC Scheme, shared his past experiences with C-DAC, and appreciated the comprehensive course design and the efforts of the organizing team.

Participants during their introduction paid their gratitude toIndian Missions, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for inviting them in ITEC course and C-DAC Delhi for designing such a comprehensive, structured, and rich content for the course.The participants also shared their expectation regarding acquiring new skills in cybersecurity and malware analytics during the course.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of training kits to all participants by Mr. Jitendra Singh and Mr. Abhinav Dixit, followed by a group photograph and lunch.
