National Digital Platform for Organ & Tissue Transplantation

In a landmark step towards strengthening India's digital healthcare ecosystem, Smt. Anupriya Patel, Hon'ble Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, formally launched e-प्रत्यारोपण – India's National Digital Organ & Tissue Transplant Platform on August 03rd, 2026 during the 16th Indian Organ Donation Day celebrations held in New Delhi.

The launch ceremony was held in the august presence of Smt Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary, MoHFW, Dr. Loveneesh G. Krishna, DGHS, Shri Vijay Nehra, Additional Secretary, MoHFW, Dr. Anil Kumar, Director, NOTTO, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, State Governments, NOTTO, C-DAC Noida, healthcare institutions and transplant professionals.

Representing C-DAC Noida were Shri Vivek Khaneja - Executive Director, Shri Rajiv Yadav - Scientist G, Shri Jignesh Modi - Scientist E, Shri Ahsan Ali Saifi - Project Manager, Shri Harjot Singh Aidan - Project Managerand the project team.

e-प्रत्यारोपण has been designed and developed by the Health Informatics Group, C-DAC Noida, in close collaboration with NOTTO and MoHFW. The platform establishes a unified digital ecosystem connecting NOTTO, ROTTOs, SOTTOs, State Appropriate Authorities, hospitals, healthcare professionals, donors, recipients and citizens, enabling secure, transparent and standardized transplantation workflows.

During the event, Shri Harjot Singh Aidan, Project Manager, C-DAC Noida, presented the solution, showcasing the website, web portal and mobile application. The demonstration highlighted key features including hospital licensing, donor and recipient registration, waitlist management, organ allocation, regulatory approvals, grievance management, analytics and post-transplant follow-up. The mobile application further enables secure, real-time access for stakeholders, supporting faster coordination and informed decision-making.

The launch of e-प्रत्यारोपण marks a significant milestone in India's journey towards a transparent, efficient and technology-driven organ transplantation ecosystem. It reflects C-DAC Noida's expertise in designing, developing and implementing large-scale Digital Public Health platforms, supporting the Government of India's vision for Digital Health and improved citizen-centric healthcare services.
