Workshop on Digital Governance & Emerging Technologies

C-DAC Mumbai organized a one-day workshop on its "Digital Governance with Emerging Technologies" at Chandigarh, on December 11th, 2025, for all the government departments from Haryana and Punjab.

Dr. G. Anupama, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana, the chief guest andShri Rahul Narwal, IAS, Director, IT, Electronics & Communication, Haryana, and Special Secretary to the Government, Haryana, wasthe guest of honour.

The workshop witnessed150 participants.Representatives from key departments, including Citizen Resources Information Department, Health Department, SCRB, Agriculture Department, and Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, PGIMER, Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts, and Directorate of Secondary Education, actively participated. Government officials, academia, and industry stakeholders contributed to the interactive sessions.

Sessions covered cybersecurity solutions, national authentication frameworks(e-Pramaan,offline e-Pramaan, and the user consent management system e-Sammati),blockchain implementations such asNBF Lite, document verification, eVoting, etc., AI applicationssuch as SAMVAD AI, npdAI, and upAsthIti, speech-based exam system and document intelligence tool, and accessibility standards, Annonshield, SATYA (a digital accessibility testing tool), Bump-In-The-Wire (BITW) solution for SCADA systems, etc. Along with Mumbai, cyber security solutions from C-DAC Mohali including SIEM, honeypot, deceptive security,etc were also presented by Mohali team.

The workshop was engaging, interactive, and received pitive appreciation from the attendees.
