C-DAC Mumbai organized a one-day workshop on “Digital Governance with Emerging Technologies” in Jammu, on March 12th, 2026, for all the government departmentsof Jammu and Kashmir.

Shri Ramish Gupta JKPS, SSP, CICE, andMs. Mahima Madan IAS, CEO, JaKeGA, were the guests of honour at the workshop, and Dr. Piyush Singla IAS, Secretary, IT Dept., Govt of Jammu & Kashmir, was the Chief Guest.

The workshop witnessedover sixty participantsfrom the key departments of Jammu & Kashmir, viz.IT, JaKeGA, Revenue, IIT Jammu, Skill Development, Hospitality & Protocol, Labour and Employment, Youth Services,Sports, Housing & Urban Development, Administrative Reforms, Inspections, Trainings & Grievances, and Health & Medical Education.

Sessions covered cybersecurity solutions, national authentication frameworks(e-Pramaan,offline e-Pramaan, and User Consent Management System, e-Sammati),blockchain implementations such asNBF Lite, document verification, eVoting, etc., AI applicationssuch as SAMVAD AI, npdAI, and upAsthIti, Speech-Based Exam System and Document Intelligence tool, and Accessibility standards, Annonshield, SATYA (a digital accessibility testing tool), Bump-In-The-Wire (BITW) solution for SCADA Systems, etc.
