Brief Description
SAHAS is a comprehensive enterprise application developed and implemented by CDAC Noida at AIIMS Delhi to digitize and streamline Human Resource (Administration), Payroll, and Financial (Accounts) Management processes across the institute. The system has been designed to support the administrative and financial requirements of one of India's premier healthcare and academic institutions by providing an integrated, secure, and scalable platform for efficient governance and resource management.
The Human Resource Management component of SAHAS enables end-to-end management of employee lifecycle activities including employee registration, service records, transfers and postings, promotions, increments, leave management, attendance monitoring, retirement processing, and maintenance of digital service books. The centralized repository of employee information ensures data consistency, improves accessibility, and significantly reduces dependency on paper-based processes.
The Payroll Management module automates salary processing and related activities such as pay fixation, arrears calculation, leave encashment, statutory deductions, income tax computation, generation of salary bills, and compliance reporting. Integration with HR processes enables accurate and timely payroll execution while minimizing manual intervention and operational errors.
The Financial Management component supports budget preparation, expenditure tracking, bill processing, procurement-related financial transactions, account compilation, tax management. The system provides real-time visibility into financial operations, enabling informed decision-making and effective financial control.
